DISCOVER YOUR NEW FAVOURITE COZY MYSTERY SERIES!

Constable Evan Evans leaves behind the big city for the sleepy Welsh village of Llanfair. But murder follows him . . .

Evans returns to his childhood home, nestled high in the beautiful Welsh mountains. But he quickly learns that even the most beautiful of settings has its share of eccentric — and deadly — characters.

He is called in to investigate the deaths of two hikers on Mount Snowdon. It looks like a tragic mishap, but Evans isn’t convinced.

Then, a third body is found on the mountain. The man’s throat has been slit. This was no accident.

The people of Llanfair seem like such decent folk, but is there a murderer in their midst, who may or may not be linked to the mysterious destruction of Mrs Powell-Jones’ prize-winning tomatoes?

Constable Evan Evans has his work cut out in this charming cozy Welsh village mystery.

MEET THE DETECTIVE
Evan Evans is a fit, ambitious young detective who was in training in Swansea when his family was struck by tragedy. Feeling that nothing makes sense anymore, Evans escapes to his childhood home in Snowdonia where he becomes a community policeman. But despite the idyllic setting he can’t help getting involved in major crimes. He is broad shouldered, keen on rugby and a pint — and the sort of decent chap you’d be happy to have as a son-in-law.

THE SETTING
Llanfair is a charming village high in the beautiful W
elsh mountains of Snowdonia. It is peopled by a cast of quirky characters, including the butcher Evans-the-Meat, the dairyman Evans-the-Milk, the postman Evans-the-Post, two warring Methodist ministers, their more aggressively warring wives, a flirtatious barmaid at the Red Dragon pub and a beautiful, enigmatic schoolteacher. The people of Llanfair enjoy a simpler way of life, and proudly uphold local traditions
